This year’s event will take place from 14 to 15 March, 9 AM to 6 PM IST at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, welcoming attendees for two days of engaging discussions, technical sessions, and community interactions.

Over the weekend, participants will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, explore practical use cases, and connect with peers across the Drupal ecosystem.

Along with sponsorship, several team members from OpenSense Labs will also be sharing their expertise through dedicated sessions during the camp:

1. Design System Integration (Figma → SDC → Canvas)

“Learn how to transform Figma design components into reusable Single Directory Components (SDC) and bring them to life in Drupal Canvas. This session explores a streamlined workflow that bridges design and development for scalable, component-driven Drupal projects.” - Praversh Poonia

2. From Dockerfile to Live Drupal – Deploying Containers on Azure App Service

The session includes a demo showing a Drupal container being deployed end-to-end on Azure App Service. Attendees will be pointed to a public GitHub repository containing the reference Dockerfile, GitHub Actions workflow, and architecture diagram for immediate use after the session.” - Rishabh Bhardwaj

Why This Event Matters for the Drupal Ecosystem?

While Drupalcons, meetups, and community events all play a role in knowledge sharing, DrupalCamps hold a distinct place within the Drupal ecosystem. They strike a balance between the structured depth of conferences and the open community-driven spirit of meetups. Events like DrupalCamp Delhi 2026 make the experience both insightful and accessible for participants at different stages of their Drupal journey.

  1. Community-Led, Not Commercially Driven: Unlike large industry conferences that are often vendor-led, DrupalCamps are organized by community members and contributors, keeping the focus on open knowledge sharing rather than promotion.
  2. A Bridge Between Meetups and Global Conferences: It sits between small local meetups and large international events, offering deeper technical sessions and workshops while still maintaining an informal, community-first atmosphere.
  3. Direct Contribution to the Project: Many Camps include activities like contribution sessions or code sprints where attendees actively work on improving Drupal modules, documentation, or core features.
  4. Accessible Learning for All Levels: Camps typically feature a mix of beginner-friendly workshops, advanced technical sessions, and strategic discussions, making them valuable for both newcomers and experienced professionals.
  5. Stronger Local Community Building: Because they are regionally organized, DrupalCamps help strengthen local Drupal communities by connecting developers, agencies, students, and organizations within the same ecosystem.

What truly sets DrupalCamps apart is their ability to transform community interaction into tangible progress for the Drupal project and the people building with it.
